Free Picture Message

Hi had Vodafone upgrade plans to be in line with VOXI? I'm on a Max 5G SIM online additional plan. I seems to be able sent unlimited picture messages via text with no charges. I've checked my additional charges a few days after with no extra charges. Is this something others have come across. I know you get this on VOXI but didn't know Vodafone had adopted this quietly

Yes @rossieboy22 But this is an additional number on your Dad's account, it can sometimes be delayed updating.  I bet the charge is on your Dad's bill each month.

My dad doesn't administrate the account , I do. I can see the texts that I sent as picture messages already charged on the account as standard free text messages, they can't process it as a free text then also charge me for PM and it was 48hs ago as I said my dad's picture messages charge was instant. I'm pretty clued up on the matter. I just wondering at the start of this thread if Vodafone had quietly started giving free text like VOXI.

I've come to the conclusion it's Android side of things as even when I put multiple picture messages in the text bar it's still stays blue and says sent as SMS. It's like it doesn't register as a picture message with RCS as it does away with the 160 character limit currently found in SMS messages.

iv just found this on my voda app yesterday said add unlimted picture messages  for free i know you had to pay for it when i took the sim only contractout  im on Red 150 and i cant find anything on the net about it

My Vodafone plan (Unlimited Max + 4 Benefits) includes "Unlimited Picture Messages".

I've never sent one, and don't plan on starting now.

@chisteryi used to be on Unlimited Max but changed it to red 150+10 extra GB free but seen it on the app saying add Unlimited Picture Messages for free
