Porting number from 1 voda contract to another

I've got 2 vodafone contracts. The sim only one is nearing the end of the contract and i'd like to if possible, port that number over to the other vodafone contract. Does anybody know if that is possible to do? I don't want the hassle of informing everybody of a new number. Thanks in advance

It's possible @nanamoo but as soon as you move the number, it will replace the other number and you will lose the other contract number.

 

The quickest way is to port out the contract that is expiring to any other network as PAYG, when the number moves to the other network, port back in in your other contract, this will at the same time cancel the contract that is expiring.  Vodafone would probably tell you to put the expiring contract on PAYG this will take 30 days to complete and move the number to the other contract.

Thanks, the other number isn't being used anyway, it was only really being used for the unlimited data so losing the use of that number isn't a problem. I just wanted to know if it was possible :Smiling:
