Hi,
I tried to insert a sim card from a different provider into the 2nd sim slot however that one is locked as well. Before my P30 Pro I had a OnePlus, where the main sim slot was locked to Vodafone however the secondary slot was unlocked which makes perfectly sense.
Anyone knows what could I do? It doesn't make sense to have a dual sim phone if all you can do is to use 2 sim cards from the same provider. That just doesn't make sense.
Any ideas are more than welcome!
Kind regards,
Peter

The obvious solution would be to get the device unlocked. However, I'm not sure how this would work with a dual SIM one (whether you'd need to use the SIM in slot 2 to prove ownership relative to that IMEI). I'm assuming the slot is locked to Vodafone as opposed to blocked completely, as happened here.
