Vodafone Unlock

I have bought a phone locked to Vodafone and I know that I need to become a Vodafone customer in order to unlock it. My question is, if I get a free pay as you go sim, do  I need to load any money onto it for this to work?

The solution is you use the phone on the network for 30 days to prove ownership and that is going to mean topping up adding credit and making chargeable activity.

Yes as you need some activity on the Vodafone Payg account which means phoning and texting or using data.

This latched the iPhone's serial number to the Vodafone Payg account.
