Since I got the very expensive 14 pro two weeks a go and having moved from Iphone X I have had non stop buffering regardless as to the connection type, either wifi, 5G or 4G they all buffer which means listening to music or watching videos etc is impossible to do. Looking at the web this seems to be a recurring issue across the globe and its either IOS 16 or the phone that has an issue. What is being done to check this out and help customers out. I going to hand mine back and get a refund unless its fixed. And that is saying something as I've been with Vodafone for over 25 years with great service but if this isn't fixed i'm moving providers.

I appreciate Vodafone supplied the iPhone to you but to cover all bases it might also be advantageous to approach Apple / Apple Genius Bar too to ask them @khmuir1
Vodafone have no control whatsoever with iOS or the iPhone hardware.
It seems you've about made your judgement to possibly return the phone for now and wait.

Thanks. I've contacted Vodafone and I do appreciate it could well be out with their control. We are trying a couple of other options and then if that fails I will speak to the apple genius bar. Vodafone have always been super helpful so I am going to give them a chance to resolve it first. But its odd that my IMac is getting around18mb download speeds on wifi and the phone is getting 3.1 on the same wifi and then it drops out! Even Vodafone agreed on that one. And yes that slow but its good for where I live in the middle of nowhere with no landline with a datacube.

You're very welcome @khmuir1
As the iPhone will be unlocked to all network's I'm wondering if it would be a good test to try another network's payg sim card to see how that fairs !
If this is solely down to iOS then Vodafone won't be able to do anything as Apple sandbox off their software and don't allow outside bodies to have access.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

Your post tittle states that you have a iPhone 14 Pro Max but your post states iPhones 14 Pro? Anyway, while iOS 16 is utter garbage, I don’t have issues streaming audio or video on my iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 16.3.1. I’m with SMARTY, not Vodafone though.
