OneNumber with Apple Watch S5

From looking at the OneNumber pages on Vodafone's website it would seem the user isn't charged an extra £7 per month now to connect an Apple Watch.  I can't find any mention of it.  

Does this apply to an Apple Watch which is bought direct from Apple?

No the price you pay each month through getting a Apple Watch on a contract with Vodafone includes the one number connection if you buy the watch elsewhere you are billed £7 a month to connect your mobile number

Thanks for the reply.  Shame there is no mention of the £7 hidden charge for folks that decide to obtain their Watch from Apple on the Vodafone web site.

Hey @johnnykins, I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed with the charge for our One Number product. This charge is the the access to our network and allow your watch to receive and independent data service. If you prefer not to take up this service, you can still use your watch with your iPhone by connecting through a Bluetooth or WiFi connection.
