iPhone 16 Pro Max Delivery Delays?

Anyone else pre-order the iPhone 16 Pro Max? I ordered at 13:05 last Friday (13/10/24) - just been online to check the tracking and showing as 1-2 weeks! 

I’m hopeful this is a temporary ‘glitch’ and this will update during the day today… Interested to see if anyone else who ordered around the same sort of time/date is also seeing this delivery pushback displayed on order tracking? For reference, I pre-ordered iPhone 16 Pro Max Black 256gb.

From what i ve been told, the only reason i get delayed is because of the colour and storage. It still does not make any sense since they should order from apple what we ordered from them. I think they order in bunches and just send whattever they have

Apple are out of stock themselves for some colours, 

Apple will of course fill their back orders before delivering to networks.

I hope they are not trying to pull some prank🤣 on me, i saw delivery date oct9 which is tomorrow on the link sent to monitor the order but I don't get any message or mail in regarding the delivery set for tomorrow 🤣.  I hope this isn't some kind of delivery trick😄
