Calls disconnecting with lots of noise

When on a call phone frequently gets a lot of noise sounding as if gone under water and cannot then talk to other end and have to remake call. This happens regardless of me making call or receiving call. My husbands phone which is the same model, samsung galaxy s9 does not have this problem so probably something on my phone is problem.

As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in your husband's phone and then see what happens ?

Is this happening everywhere or in one particular place ?

Look at Network-issues-initial-checks-and-template too although as you say this could be the phone itself @southash
