Error 196

Hi I hope someone can help!

I am trying to send a text to a number but it won't send and comes back with an error message saying "Can't send message with vodfone- error 196"

This is the first time I have received this error when texting someone, I did manage to get a call to go through though after a couple of attempts. I have restarted my phone to no avail, I have a strong signal too.

You SIM may be a little behind with the network @emferg11 and temporarily lost it's connection, try updating the SIM by completing a manual roam > setting > connections > mobile networks > manual > complete a scan > select any other network, when the phone rejects the request reselect Vodafone.  Further information from device guides Device Guides
