Getting texts instead of voicemail notifications

I've had an ongoing problem where I receive texts instead of voicemail notifications.

Have now gone from a Pixel 3 to a Pixel 6 and still have the same issue.

I've been in touch with Vodafone - they had me reset my network settings .. the only result was that I lost all my saved wifi networks 😞

Any suggestions?

If you mean the way voicemail alerts you, you can change this by dialing 121 and following the prompts, I am sure it will be option 1 > 4 followed by 3 select your alert 2 for text 3 for a call, you should also be able to get a notification icon by selecting option 4.

I'm sure I'd done that before .. but tried again and activated the icon alert.
