The version on Vodafone is supplied unlocked and users would need to request a profile from Vodafone to activate e-sim.

Vodafone don't support eSIMs in any phone.

I thought did as they do it on Apple watch. I may be wrong though.

There are many posts about iPhones, Androids and eSIMS here, they don't support them, only on watches.

There is no timescale as they don't even appear to be interested in supporting them.

None taken mate. The phone actually does have built in protection simular to play protect. It scans any APK file prior to install in real time which is amazing.

For me if people stick to the more known sites for apk's then they should have no issues. My top ones tend to be:

Huawei App Gallery

APK Pure - also has built in updates and protection

Aptoid - also has built in updates and protection

Amazon Android App Store

All have apps and work very simularly to the Play Store.  They also all provide app update notifications.

Things can be a little sticky with permissions and notifications which is why I really dont think the phone will be for everyone.

Glad you are all enjoying reading.
