In the data section of network settings, is it set to use all available connections and not limited to 3G and below? (That should be the default, unless someone has changed it).

Is this happening in one place or everywhere @El_burro_1999 ?
As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone to see what connection you get then ?
If it's still a problem.then Vodafone customer service on 191 or Live Chat can check your account to ensure 4g is turned On.
