My inbox isn't receiving emails from vodaphone

Device: honor 200 pro

Issue:  password reset email never arrives

Last weekend the vodaphone app revealed that it was carrying out maintenance.  After this, my stored login details no longer work correctly. 

My email is recognised

My mobile number is recognised 

My 4 digit number is recognised 

My memorable name is recognised 

My password isn't recognised.  I opt to have a temp password be sent to my inbox.  Nothing arrives! 

 

I've tried using the Internet on my phone to log in, instead of through the app.  Same thing happens - no mail from vodaphone 

The same issue occurred here too after first trying to complete registration.  No email was sent. 

 

And so I've created a temporary email in order to gain access to this forum. 

On thing I did notice though was that my user name on the app came up as my regular email address only now it's all in uppercase text - could that be an issue?

Update:  the temporary password reset appears to be going to my old mobile number & not my email (as I had assumed)

Hopefully this will resolve my issue

Hi Gemma. 

I belive the actual issue is how the App has now stored my email.

 

The App is now listing my email in uppercase, minus the  four numbers after the text.

 

The text to my old number was from Sunday - not today :Sad_face:
