POCO X3 Pro - Not displaying QR codes on app

I have a POCO X3 Pro and have noticed it will not display QR codes on the vodafone app.

I am trying my best to take advantage of the free/discounted Costa drinks and when I click to claim the offer I am resented with a blank white square where the QR should be displayed.

Any Ideas???

Hi @matjayjay, how strange! Have you got the latest version of the My Vodafone app installed? Do QR codes display correctly on other apps and sites? 🙂

I have only noticed it once before on an e-ticket for something... Have posted on Xiaomi forums too tho so hopefully it will be something daft/simple...

Thanks for the screenshot. I've taken a look at this and checked some of the support tools for Xiaomi, are you able view the QR Codes when you turn dark mode off on your phone?

Looking at the image - you are using dark mode!  If you turn this off you will be able to see the QR codes!

I have the Poco F3 and can replicate your exact issue when using dark mode, turn it off and everything is good!

Thank you for your reply. This was also suggested by another bit my QR had expired and only just got another thru Very me rewards.  Dark mode off n QR displayed fine 😃😂😃😂

I believe we are promised a fix to this dark mode issue in an upcoming version of MiUi.  I use a number of shopping apps that give discounts based on scanning barcodes, and very few work with dark mode enabled!  Interestingly they can fail in different ways too!
