Wifi calling on my S22 Ultra is not working, and I'm living in an area of the country where this feature is essential.
I think it was working on Android 12, but as soon as I got my device I upgraded to Android 13, with all the latest patches. Wifi calling now does not appear as an option in Connections.
Has enyone here experienced this or found a fix? It appears Vodafone have had issues with this in the past, which is nothing to do with Android or the device - on Android 12 at least - see the solution here.
I was advised by support to send a text with the message 'CALLING' to 97888 but that made no change.
Has anyone experienced this issue and found a fix?

Persistence seems to pay off. Having gone through two cycles of agents trying to turn wifi settings on and off in my account (which didn't work), my case was escalated to tech support. The agent "sent the configuration settings in the backend" and the wifi calling option reappeared on my phone within a couple of minutes - no action required on my part - other than turning it back on once it had reappeared as a quick panel button.

Does it appear in the Samsung phone dialler app settings? If it's not there, you need to ask Vodafone to send you the OTA provisioning update settings.
You used to be able to turn it off and on again in Myvodafone, but as that was deemed to be providing decent service, they removed the functionality. You now have to call and ask for them to remove and add it.

Despite many phone calls, reset of the phone I still have no WiFi calling option. Vodafone say it may have been caused by the latest software update. Anyone else still struggling with no WiFi calling option on their phone?

My software is up to date. No phone reset required, just the Vodafone agent action mentioned in the accepted solution.

Well after over a month of making numerous phone calls and receiving calls from Vodafone going over the same thing everytime, Vodafone telling me my phone is faulty and me telling them it isn't, finally I have the WiFi calling option on my phone and it works!! What they did was disconnect me from their network and then reconnected me. After about an hour the advisor called me and asked if WiFi calling had appeared, I said no, so he ordered me a new sim card, 15mins later the option appeared! If only they did what they did earlier (they said they would disconnect me earlier, but never did), maybe all this wouldn't have happened.

Don’t know if people are still struggling with this. I recently bought a Galaxy A14. No WiFi calling switch/option available on phone. Really irritating because definitely active in my Vodafone. So here’s a work around if you can’t get the agent fix (I spent ages with them online but nothing helped). Add a second SIM card (no need for it to be working I believe but I’m not 100% sure, just order free PAYG one online or pick up from shop). When you do this you can go into Connections - SIM manager and at the bottom you will see ‘Data switching and backup calling’ (I don’t think it’s available with only a single SIM, but you can check this I guess). Open this up. You will see underneath a link to ‘Go to WiFi calling’. Open link and you will be able to set the option for each SIM card. When I did this the icons appeared at the top of my screen and I could immediately call both numbers through WiFi. Absurdly difficult to find but it worked. I hope this helps anyone who can’t get help with it. I use 2 SIM cards so didn’t remove the extra SIM but assume the single SIM will continue working after removal of the second unnecessary one.

Mine has gone as well. I've tried many things, I've messaged 97888 and don't get any messages or anything regarding WiFi calling. Vodafone technical online know absolutely nothing about this apart from resetting my account and advised I visit a Vodafone store. The store knew very little about Android phones, basically IOS is what they knew. It may be on my account, but it's not on my phone, no option to switch it on in the app, its not mentioned in my account on Vodafone.co.uk which it should be if you follow their online tutorial. Vodafone online say may be the phone is faulty, Vodafone the shop says it isn't. If you download an app from the Play Store called Samsung Band Selection it is shown here as off but there is no toggle switch to switch it on.

Turning on wifi calling in your account will only enable it on your phone if it has the correct settings. There have been reports of the facility disappearing after an OS update. It's definitely possible to have the settings pushed to the phone and you may need to ask for this. Your best bet is probably to contact the Social Media team on Facebook or Twitter and ask them to escalate. Note that the wifi calling settings are not the same as the data APN.
I suspect the reason for the loss of the account toggle is that it's simply enabled on all accounts by default.
