I recently picked up a $16 phone to see what it ran and it runs a very strict version of android (as it's a button phone) but the only app that will sideload is Whatsapp 192.168.1.254as it's the only one officially supported there is no appstore and every other APK fails to install, is there a way I can sideload? I trie10.0.0.0.1d installing a fork of kaiOS but it aborted because I don't have a scatter file.
For that money, I'd assume that there's very little RAM or storage, so that may be the issue in a nutshell - not enough space. (Edited to add: I see it's a whole 512mb!)
Sideloading comes with a bunch of risks, but you probably know that.
