Smartphone N10 VFD630 software update fail

when the phone restarts after the software download it gets to 25% and an error message is displayed. Then it displays 'Couldn't install system update'. The update size is 94.69MB and I have plenty of memory on my phone. I had the same problem in June with a system update. This was finally sorted out by Tash.

@Peterpoos Have you or are you able to, try and update the software via a laptop/PC? i.e. connect via USB and run the update through windows

I have just tried your suggestion. The problem still exists. I have my USB Preferences set to :-

USB controlled by :- This devise

and

Use USB for :- No data transfer

Can you confirm if I have the correct options set !

@Peterpoos It'd appear to be correct, from what you're saying. We may need to take a closer look at this, are you able to contact us via a social media platform at all?

Hi Josh. With due respect,there was a similar update problem in June 2020. This was eventually resolved by TASH ( moderator ) and "the team". There was no need for myself to make contact with Tash over social media. She was in contact with me during the whole process by private messages and the problem was eventually resolved. I thought " the team " would have some sort of record of what caused the problem in the first place and how it was resolved. Peter
