When will the Google Pixel 6 and 6a be supported for esims?

Hey @chrisquinze There is no date for this but we are continually working to increase to amount of compatible phones and will update the website regularly.

Have you actually tried it to see if it works?

The device guide pages say it works: https://deviceguides.vodafone.co.uk/google/pixel-6-android-12-0/getting-started/activate-esim/ 

You cannot rely on the esim page, as Vodafone never update them and Vodafone staff will use them to get you to go away by saying no instead of helping and doing their job.

If an eSIm works on one Android phone, there's no reason why it wouldn't work on others.
