Wifi calling on the S20 Ultra

Hello,

I've bought the S20 Ultra from Samsung but have noticed that the Wifi calling option isn't available to select on the phone and the S20 devices aren't listed yet as having wifi calling on the Vodafone website.

Will these be added soon does anyone know?

The phone certainly has the specs to support it @GreenSamot 

Vodafone would say to keep watching that support page to see if it appears as I assume they'll be currently testing the phone.

Perhaps use Live Chat or customer service on 191 and ask for this to be activated on your account.

"Register for Vodafone Wi-Fi Calling

Text the word CALLING to 97888

This is a free text which will add the service to your account

You should receive the following confirmation text:

Thanks. We’ll add Wi-Fi Calling to your account in the next 24 hours and will let you know when you’re all set up.

If you’d like to discuss this with us, or if you have any other issues, you can find more info here or contact us

Once you receive the confirmation text, switch on Wi-Fi Calling in your settings

Go to Settings, scroll down and choose the Application icon

Choose Phone and scroll down until you see Wi-Fi Calling – select the box beside this option

A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm if you want to enable Wi-Fi Calling – tap OK"

Cheers, have messaged 97888 and I'll see if that does it.

I'd already tried Live chat but they couldn't help me as it's not a listed device.

My account should be fine as it worked on my previous phone fine, but I'm guessing Vodafone still need to activate something for it to work on my new device.

Got it working.

Had to contact live chat again though. They did a "refresh" on my account and after restarting my device the option appeared.

Been waiting since saturday to get WiFi calling on my s20 . Spoke and  live chatted to 4 different people tried all the options but it still doesn't appear .

It did take a few attempts to get it working on mine.

I sent a text to 9788 and I could see it was enabled on my account before they fixed it.

I have sent message to 97888 twice . They sent a link to activate it but the link didn't work . Asked them to reset my account which they did . Still didn't work.  Have received an email from Vodafone tech asking for imei number so hopefully will get sorted in next few days.  If not phone goes back as signal is not great where i live so need WiFi calling.

Every time I called Vodafone regarding the wifi calling issues they kept saying that they would be able to fix the issue but never resolved.
The worst experience was when the customer service agent said "why do you need wifi calling feature when you can make calls with cellular signal?" wait..... what?
I am not sure whether it is the truth but one of the customer service agent mentioned to me that the device has wifi calling feature and Vodafone supports wifi calling on certain plans, however as of now Vodafone does not officially support wifi calling on S20 or S20 ultra, this means if it works bingo! if it does not work, don't use the feature!

An edible phone?? Interesting
