I requested a NUC for my phone, SM-G900F 12 days ago. I spoke to someone online & they gave me the link to fill in, the same one I did before. So, I filled it in again. About a day after, I got an email saying that my phone has already been unlocked. I checked & it hasn't. It still promps me to enter my unlock code when I put the different sim in.
I have a PUC code to transfer my number. There's offers I want to take up, but Vodafone are taking so long, I'm going to end up missing out on these offers.

Hi @VsUK1981
If Vodafone do not have a particular unlocking code on file and have to engage with the manufacturer then this can slightly delay the process. It can take up to 10 working days occasionally.
However this wouldn’t stop you using your PAC Code to move your number to an alternative Network.
Vodafone will still process the Unlock for you.
It maybe beneficial to check your email Spam In-Boxes too.
If there isn’t an email soon then customer service can contact the Nuc Department on your behalf and or provide you a specific email address for you to contact them. They are not customer facing so there isn’t a contact number for you to use.
Tip : When you use your PAC Code this will automatically end your Vodafone contract.
Please do not cancel your Direct Debit at this stage.
Vodafone will send you a final bill in approximately 2 weeks to take final payment and apply any relevant refunds.
Then they’ll send a £0 bill and Sorry Your Leaving Letter (keep these safe) which confirms account cancellation.

I understand what you're saying. But why on earth would I use the PUC code to transfer my number to another provider, if I can't use the sim they provide in my phone?
I did get the email from support yesterday & I emailed them directly, I got an unusual email in return saying to provide the NUC code I'm having problems with. But after calling Vodafone, they told me to ignore the email as my request is in the system & bring processed.
It's funny though, My sister had a S5 she bought second hand but locked to another network & she wanted to move to vodafone & she contacted vodafone & they provided a NUC code in 2 days so she could move to them.
So, I'm thinking there's a 2 tier system for incoming & out going here & I'm clearly on the drag your feet tier!

Ah I understand your moving to a SIM Only type contract etc.
Appreciate what your saying.
Vodafone wouldn't have been able to provide an unlocking code for a phone locked to another network.

OK, this is really vexing me now.
Wednesday evening I received an email saying it's nearly done. Just another step to complete. All I had to do was wait for the email to confirm my email address & then it'll take upto 2 days to receive my nuc code. Well Yesterday morning I got this email, confirmed it. This morning I received an email saying & I quote
"You recently asked us to unlock your phone so you can use it on another network. However our records show we have already unlocked it."
Well, I have put in the other network sim card & it still keeps popping up to enter an unlock code.
Proof attached as of a few minutes ago. So can someone explain to me why I'm being lied to or fobbed off from having my phone unlocked to all networks?
