Hi,
I've got a query regarding the 1471 service on Vodafone. From my Pay Monthly handset when I dial 1471 I receive a message saying "The last caller information service is not availble for this subscription". However the service works correctly from a PAYG handset.
I contacted Vodafone via online chat and was told that as this is a premium rate number it was barred from my handset - the operator offered to unblock it but warned me that it would cost 55p per minute!
I cannot find any detail of this charge on the Vodafone website and as it is free from PAYG I do not believe the operator.
Does anyone know for sure?

1471 works for some Vodafone numbers but not all numbers are supported.
It certainly is not a premium rate number costing 55p per minute and that is more nonsense coming from Customer Services who don't know what they are talking about.
