Hi All I have a HTC One M7. I've had my contract since January and I'm very dissapointed to say that since January 2014 I've had 3 replacement HTC One's and the third one has now gone faulty so I will need another replacement phone. I'm very disappointed in the HTC One, all the reviews people had of the phone saying it was the best phone of 2013. The handset I have now has started to do abnormal reboots and does it at least 3 times a day. I've factory reset the device and tried every thing else but it still keeps rebooting. Has anybody has any issues with HTC One. I'm running android 4.4.4 and sense 6

Thanks

Hi @subzerokid14,

We can certainly have a look at repairing the phone.

Alternatively, it may be wise to speak directly with HTC as they may be in a better position to offer a replacement.

Thanks,

Matt B

This thread strikes a cord with me! I've had my HTC one since June 2013, then a couple of weeks ago, the camera went faulty (pink in low light), so Vodafone replaced it...a day later I realised that the new one had a faulty microphone, as nobody could hear me (i found out in the store that the original owner had exactly the same problem with the phone that was sent out as reconditioned). Anyway.. that was then changed... Then my next one seemed ok... Until I noticed that it wouldn't connect to WiFi at work, I thought it might be the WiFi at work, so I checked at home... Yep... Unless I'm within touching distance of the router it doesn't work... This WiFi antenna is faulty! So this is going back today. I've now made 6 journeys into town, paid for parking and paid for one screen cover that I only had for one day. I'd love to know what to do, but I've had enough! Surely I'm paying for something that obviously isn't fit for purpose! I'm not wanting another week with a crappy loan phone or paying another 2.50 to park in town. I'm also burning up my internet usage as I'm currently in bed, directly above the router downstairs, but it won't bloody work (sorry that last bit wasn't needed). Anyway... After my rant... I feel your pain and I want it sorting too! Speak to HTC?... I bought the phone from Vodafone and you Bill me every month (over £50), this is appaling service and we should be treated better. I apologise if there's mistakes here, but you get my drift!

Hi @jamesabby ,

I'm very sorry to see you've had three separate issues in a row. I'm sure you can appreciate that this is a rarity.

We'll be happy to repair the phone under the warranty as before. If you're unhappy to use our repair process, you're entitled to approach HTC directly as an alternative.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi there. I got my phone back today and what do u know.  It has the exact same wifi problem that you had. I'm gonna try a software update but if that doesn't work I'm making a complaint to htc.  this is a disgrace. I'm fed up with having to get replacement phone every few months.  I may consider selling the phone because it's caused so much hassle.  It's a good phone but I want a phone that will actually work and do what it's ment to do

Right I've had enough of the htc one. The replacement I got today has gone faulty and won't connect to wifi. I want a different phone I'm sick of getting replacement phones just give me a new phone.

Hi @subzerokid14 ,

I'm sorry you feel that way.

We're unable to swap the make and model of your phone.

If you're unhappy to use our repair process, please use the contact details I provided above to speak to HTC directly. As the manufacturer, they hold more rights over your warranty than we do as a supplier.

Thanks,

Ben
