1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?
Everywhere served by the site on the water treatment plant near HU16 4HE including HU16 5PX, HU16 4JT etc. Performance returns to normal when you land on other sites e.g. the centre of Cottingham (HU16 4BB) or HU16 5SA area.
2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? If you don't want this showing on the Community, add it to your profile here.
HU16 4HE, HU16 5PX, HU16 4JT etc. (full serving area of the mast on all sectors)
3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?
The same issue occurs on two different phones with three different SIMs, all of which work fine on 4G and 900MHz 3G from this site and on all technologies and frequencies from other sites.
4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?
2100MHz 3G is completely unusable for data, occasionally displaying 0.1Mbps on netperform but most often saying that it can't connect to the server and to try later. Mobile test/diagnostic app, Network Signal Guru, reports 100% errors on the downlink despite good RF conditions (see attached images).
5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?
2100MHz 3G only.
6) When did you first notice this issue?
First noticed on 6th July 2017.
7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?
From my testing it appears to be permanent.

@_m I've checked the three postcodes you've provided for 3G coverage - they all connect to local serving site 15465.
These areas all have good 4G coverage and site 15465 looks to be performing correctly.
I can't find any details regading to site 1440 - it doesn't come up in my search, therefore I'd think it would be unlikely it was linked to your device.

Hi Alex,
I should have said in my original post that 1440 was the ID of the site before it was upgraded - it may well have changed. The site is located very near the post code HU16 4HE at a water pumping station.
The site is performing correctly on 4G, 2G, and 900MHz 3G; however 2100MHz 3G is definitely not performing correctly on this site.

I can confirm the 3G 2100MHz issues at the site _m mentions do exist. The latitude and longitude of the site is 53.791166, -0.409396, road Millhouse Woods lane.

@_m Thanks for the information - I've now identified the site as the one mentioned above in my earlier post (15465) located at HU16 4HE.
I've sent you a private message with details on how to get in touch so we're able to look into this further.

@_m I've just been notified from our Network engineers that your INC3029118 has been closed.
Work has been done on a nearby site and new test results show a significant improvement in 3G data performance.
Given the actions taken in this location and the performance stats now being seen, this issue should be resolved 🙂

Hi Alex,
The site is now working properly after a number of climbers attended to the antennas on the tower.
Thanks
