4G Plan

Hi there, I recently upgraded to 4G, but it still says 3G in my top bar on my iPhone. Could someone please enlighten me on this matter? Since my upgrade I have also not been able to view my usage in my app. Thanks in advance for any response. Emma

Hi Emma. Have you checked to see if you are in a 4G area?

If you recently upgraded your usage won't show up in the app until your next bill is generated.

I never checked if I was in 4G area no, I thought that with being sold this, it would automatically be 4G. What's the point in this otherwise? Thanks though for your response.

So, I've checked, but still just says 3G. 😥 Was there actually any point of me getting this upgrade?

I upgraded last year to a 4G tariff even though I live in a 3G area. I got extra data and entertainment pack as part of the upgrade. I can also use 4G when in a 4G area and hopefully 4G will come to my area soon. I imagine you will be in a similar situation until 4G becomes more widely available.
