4G on Nexus 5

I just got a nexus 5 and for some reason the 4G is not working. Its enabled and every time I go into airplane mode and come out I get 4G for like 10 seconds but during this time where it should say Vodafone it says no signal even though I have bars. Any help?

Do you have a 4G plan? And did you get the Nexus on Vodafone or from Play or from some other network provider?

Yea I have a 4g plan. I got the nexus from Amazon.co.uk

Hmm, may not have the right settings then. Settings>More>MobileNetworks>AccessPointNames
Is there a Vodafone Internet option? If yes, select and restart; if not, set it up as a new APN profile (name=Vodafone Internet; APN=internet; user=web; pass=web; APNtype=default,supl,mms; MCC=234; MNC=15; authenticationtype=None) then select and restart.
