2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? AL4 8..
3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?
Yes
4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?
None - just no signal.
5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?
Yes, all signal bands.
6) When did you first notice this issue?
When we moved in.
7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?
Permanent - the network coverage map is not accurate.

May I ask in regards to Question 1.
When you leave your home location does signal return OK?

That let's Vodafone know your phone and sim card appear to be fine.

@tkinson14 I've taken a look at your postcode and can see that you're in an area with extremely limited/patchy coverage for 2G, 3G and 4G.
You'll benefit from Wi-Fi Calling or a Vodafone Sure Signal to help create a signal whilst indoors.
Keep an eye on the view 'View planned coverage' section of our Network status checker for any future improvements.
