Merry Christmas to you all,
I know Vodafone UK's policy of not discussing system updates (although they are the only Vodafone customer service worldwide, that adopts this unfriendly stance) however as it's Christmas and the season of goodwill to all, please could you confirm if android Oreo update is at the very least being looked at for the Huawei P10?
That's it one very simple Christmas wish, hopefully VF can spread a little cheer.

Hi @KNOBBY101 much as it is the season of goodwill you will not get Vodafone to comment on any firmware updates/releases, only to point you to the firmware statement.
This has been asked many, many times and its always the same answer.
They refuse to comment in case something goes wrong with their checks and then they get lambasted for not releasing the update when they said etc. I know you only want to know if they are looking at it but they wont tell you !
All the best for the season.

From reading posts elsewhere such as xda-developers.android-8-0-0-oreo-soon.
The phone is capable of running Oreo so its possible once Vodafone decide to let it be released for their Branded phones after testing.
Personally I buy sim free unbranded phones so the Networks have no say on the firmware I can use @KNOBBY101
Be aware the link talks about flashing the rom but be careful that flashing a custom Rom onto a phone can have negative outcomes if the process isn't performed correctly. My advice is not to try.
The purpose of the link is to show the phone can run Oreo.
