Apple Push Notifications iPhone 4s/IOS7.1.2 not working

Hi,

I am an IOS developer and I am currently writing an app that uses push notifications, I live in an area where there is pretty poor mobile signals for all providers, I use a Vodafone sure signal that improves things in terms of signal but I have not received one push notification on the vodafone device, the push system works because I have an O2 device right next to it that does receive all the notifications it is just the vodafone one that does not.

On the vodafone device I receive emails, if I refresh the screen, I get texts and I can browse the internet, the notification part of the settings is correct and I am fully registering into the Apple APNS servers and it is trying to send messages but they never get received.

Anyone got any pointers of where to start looking.

Hi alexw20,

Please check that you’re using the internet APN and not the WAP APN.
