BTU samsung baseband/radio on 4g voda

so if i install BTU stock samsung baseband/radio on my unlocked note 4,will the 4g/3g/2g signal and data performance be affected ..as opposed to using a branded voda firmware ?

Hi there

 

You shouldn't really notice much difference in signal or data performance. Although some basebands do perform differently.

 

Do, however, be aware, that you may end up voiding your warranty if you start playing around with the firmware and / or rooting the device.  I'd also not recommend doing it unless you are experienced in flashing firmware as you can brick the device.

Please do some research via a search on Google and there are some really good dedicated blogs and forums on the net with good information in. 

 

As long as your aware of the pro's and con's and what to do if you run into issues that's the best first step.

I'm afraid Vodafone won't provide you with the specific details of their firmware.
