Hi

all information in https://support.vodafone.co.uk/Protecting-your-device/Lost-phone/

please report is asap as you'll be liable for any unauthorised calls etc until you do.

"If your device has been lost or stolen, you should call us immediately on 03333 040 191 (standard call charges apply). If you’re calling from abroad, it’s +44 7836 191 191 (standard international call charges apply).

It’s very important that you report your device as lost or stolen as soon as you know it’s gone. Once we’ve been notified, we’ll block your SIM and your device’s IMEI (serial number) to prevent others from using it.

If it’s been stolen, you’ll also need to report it to the police and get a crime number.

If you’re a Pay monthly customer, from 7 September 2015:

If you let us know within 24 hours of your device being lost or stolen, we’ll cover the cost of any additional unauthorised usage over £100 – you’ll only be responsible for paying up to £100 for any unauthorised usage that’s not part of your allowance
If you let us know within 5 days of your device being lost or stolen, we’ll cover the cost of any additional unauthorised usage over £500 – you’ll only be responsible for paying up to £500 for any unauthorised usage that’s not part of your allowance
If you don’t let us know within 5 days of your device being lost or stolen, you’ll be liable to pay all charges incurred
Your monthly line rental will continue even if you reported your device as lost or stolen."

You will need to contact either 191 or Live Chat or from a landline 03333 040 191.

Ask them to block both you sim and your phone, if you use Live Chat ask for a transcript of the chat log to be sent to you so that you have proff of your barring request.

Was the sim password protected and what sort of phone did you have?
