Brand New VSS3 turned on for about 3 minutes, now no lights at all, help

I registered my brand new VSS3, plugged it in and the red light came on and started flashing. I went to make a cup of tea and when i came back there was no lights on, not even the red one anymore.I have tried a reset holding the button for 30 seconds (even tried for 2 minutes), I tried different ways to reset it unpluggin the ethernet cable(s) etc. still nothing.

Can anyone assist me? Have I got a dud?

EDIT: I have left the VSS3 unplugged for a few hours before posting aswell with no change

Hi messyeater,

It doesn't look good. Have you tried it in a different plug socket?

If you still see no lights at all and you've had it less than 7 working days, you can get it swapped for a new one.
