Since signing up to broadband on 11 Sept 17 I have had absolutely no communication from Vodafone regarding the free gift.
My broadband was activated on 21 Nov 17.
It's only from pro-actively searching on the Internet that I know anything about TLC and the hoops that need to be jumped through to claim.
From reading the T&Cs at https://www.tlcmarketingrewards.co.uk/broadbandgift/terms.php it clearly states:
How to participate:
So number 2 never happened, and according to 3 I shouldn't even be eligible to claim yet! I tried to enter my details on TLC site a couple of weeks ago and it said my details weren't recognised, then last week it says I am now too late.
I've spoken to TLC Marketing who say you told them I had to claim by 26th October!!! That's before my broadband was even activated!! Where this date has come from I have no idea. They say there is nothing they can do, I've spoken to your Customer Services who were less than helpful and tried to fob me off with some lies and excuses.
It seems this has happened to lots of people and is basically fraud and false advertising.
What an absolute joke - I'd like to know how Vodafone are going to resolve this please? I am well within my rights to take legal action for a clear breach of T&Cs.

I agree that with offers like these there are sometimes quite a few stages that have to be followed normally with a claim period timeframe and usually with a 'while stocks last' clause.
Either let the Social Media Team here who read all posts catch up with your thread and if they can will help and or contact Customer Services to ask for clarification on the status of the situation.

I've spoken to both the Facebook and Twitter teams, the latter of which were laughably incompetent. I've also made a direct complaint with Vodafone. I'll be pursuing legal action very soon if it's not resolved to my satisfaction.

Hi again @alexstanbury
If you have made an official complaint to Vodafone then the departments that take on board your complaint would be in touch once they've looked into the situation and investigated. The process is a member of Vodafones dedicated complaints team telephone you within 48 hours with a resolution.
If they are then unable to resolve the complaint within a timeframe of 8 weeks you can then ask for a Deadlock Letter, and ask the Communications Ombudsman to engage.
Hopefully it wont come to that stage.
