Hi,
As I understand this > Vodafone switch you from your existing provider to them when you sign up. The exception is Virgin where you'll need to fill in a form. You'll need to advise them you want to keep your current number.
Some info in this link > blog.vodafone.co.ukhuge-news-vodafone-ditches-line-rental-charges. and in vodafone.co.uk/broadband/deals
For official clarification may I suggest.

@Mucker756 In most cases you will be able to keep your old number. If a new one is required you will be told when ordering though.
The only effect you would notice after acquiring Vodafone broadband is you'll be paying your bills to Vodafone instead of BT.

@Mucker756 There's an £8 a month add on for unlimited anytime calls, alternatively it's £4 for evening and weekend calls.
