Call blocking on Q10

Can anyone advise me how to block numbers on the Q10. Seems easy on iPhones. There is an option for call blocking on the drop down menu. However I can't find how to block individual nuisance callers and it also asks for a password. Is there a default password as I have never set one up.

Hi @wynmorgan,

At what stage does it ask for a password?

For immediate support, you can get in touch with our Live help team.

Thanks,

Rodney

Options are. Incoming calls. Block all. Or block all while roaming. It's not an option I want. I want to block nuisance calls. From specific numbers. As soon as you try to do anything it says enter password for blocking calls

Hi  @wynmorgan

Our Live help team will be happy to help you with this.

There’s also further help with our nuisance call information.

Thanks,

Thanks.  Quite a queue on live help!

It didn't do the trick. Even bought an app off blackberry world that is useless. Maybe it's time for an iPhone after all.

What I have done is set up a contact called ignore, set this to no ring and no vibrate. All nuisance calls I get are then transferred to this contact and I never get disturbed again. It will show that it has called but as soon as you see ignore you can delete the notification. This is the best result I have found so far.

Thats interesting but Im being a bit thick.  How does the phone know that all nuisance caslls go into there.

See my post Block niusance calls BB10 on this page.

sorry, is there meant to be a link?
