Hello,
I was wondering if someone can help me. I am on a 30 day contract with Vodafone and currently have 3GB a month allowance for the internet using my iphone 5. I was just wondering if you can tell me (before i go ahead and buy one) if I can use the same sim card from my iPhone 5 in my ipad mini and use the 3GB allowance between the 2 devices. I know I cannot make calls from the iPad (apart from Skype), but the most important thing I need to know is that if it's possible to switch my sim card between the 2 devices.
Many thanks!

Hi there
Why would you want to switch the SIM card between the devices when you can set up a hotspot on your iPhone and connect your iPad to that? It would be easier than constantly swapping SIM cards over.

Thanks for your message. It's because this will drain my battery on my iphone.
Is it possible to do the above or not?
Many thanks

You can do, but I would recommend against it as constantly removing and reinserting SIM cards could result in damge to the SIM card contacts. They really aren't designed to have the SIM card inserted and removed regularly.
