Can receive and reply to SMS over wifi calliing, but not initiate a SMS dialogue.

Hi All

I've just started using wifi calling on my iPhone 6S and all is well except this:

I can receive and reply to SMS via wifi calling, but if I select a contact and try to send an SMS it won't send.

Any pointers welcome please.

Hi @Manks, Vodafone WiFi calling doesn't yet support text messages over WiFi, as far as I know and unless they changed something recently. Are you not sending iMessages?

I didn't even realise that iMessage was a thing until you mentioned it. It must be the case that those people to whom I've replied all have iphones.
