Hi all,

I keep trying to set the call forwarding on my Samsung Galaxy S6 as per the guidance in https://support.vodafone.co.uk/Using-our-network/Calling-and-messaging/Calling/38912104/How-do-I-man... but I keep getting failure messages as attached -any suggestions? I've called several times but no solution yet!

Thanks very much.

Hi,

Are you on Pay Monthly?

Some features are not available to Payg.

If on Pay Monthly try clearing all diverts and try to reset back up.

1. Cancel all diverts
Press Phone.
Press Keypad.
Key in ##002# and press the call icon.

If you remain stuck then Customer Services on 191 or Live Chat will be able to help.

Sorry I wasn't to know you've tried that.

If this was my situation I'd try my SIM card in another phone as a process of elimination to rule out the phone who's settings maybe hindering the feature somehow.

Then if it was the same outcome Contact Customer Services.

Hi @andrewb9

Looking at the network on the top of your phone, the signal is poor and on the first screenshot, you don't have any signal. It may be better trying the codes when you are in an area with better reception and signal for connecting to the network.

In the meantime, you can still divert calls from the call settings on the phone.  This can be done by going into your call settings and scrolling down to call forwarding.  You will be able to enter the number you wish to divert calls to from there.

I've even tried it with full coverage and it didn't work! 😐 I'll see if I can find another phone to try it with. Thanks folks

Hi @andrewb9

We'd recommend - as mentioned by @BandOfBrothers - trying your SIM in another phone.

If you're still experiencing issues after this, come and talk to us on Live Chat so that we can check your account.

You can also see more information on our help page about call diverts

Thanks,

Right, I'm back...

I've tried my SIM in a dark age old Nokia phone, in good coverage and it still doesn't work!

Once again, it brings up an error message if I try to set a divert but will successfully check and cancel diverts.

So far my phone calls have proved fruitless.

Any suggestions?

Interestingly I can't now enable divert to Vodafone voicemail back on either...
