My wife has just got a new Google Pixel 2 and I have been setting it up for her. It's pretty much all done, and yesterday her old number was successfully ported in from another network. Everything seems to be working fine, apart from one thing:
Her voicemail is set up fine and all diverts seem to be working. But when I go into Mailbox Security and choose the option to change the pin, it just replies "Thank-you for calling. Goodbye" and hangs up.
I seem to remember having a similar problem a while back when I got my own new phone on Vodafone, but cannot remember how to get it fixed? Any ideas?
Thanks

FYI - I've been on to Vodafone support to get this fixed.
It's working now.
Thanks

In the first instance, give it a few days for the port to complete. If it's still not working properly, drop a note back here and the forum team will be able to take a look.

Thanks Alex - it's still the same.
<4> for mailbox settings
<2> for mailbox security
<2> to change your pin
... results in an immediate "Thank you for calling. Goodbye". And it hangs up.
The port took place Tuesday early afternoon, so it's been about 48 hours now.

That's excellent news. Sometimes those niggling little problems can't easily be solved by frontline support, but it's good to hear you're sorted. Thanks for updating.
