I recently wanted to move to 3 where I could get an iPhone 6s for £30 for unlimited call/texts and 35 gig data. Told retention’s this and they offered unlimited calls/texts and 18gig data for £30.80. When I said no, they offered to throw in Skysport mobile for free if I signed up. I agreed. However, NO FREE SKYSPORTS AND I AM NOW BEGINNING TO WONDER WHAT ELSE THEY HAVEN’T INCLUDED AND HOW MANY OTHERS HAVE BEEN DUPED BY SUCH SCOURELESS UNDERHANDED SHARP PRACTICES?  I am in my cooling off period so tomorrow, the phone goes back and I will move networks unless THEY CONTACT ME. I conversed with the online chat people who asked me to call the retention’s team.  I gave them 24 hrs to contact me.  I mean, come on, have you ever tried to call Vodafone? #mindnumbinglyboring45minsoflifewasted!

Have Live Chat explained what’s gone wrong with the Entertainment Package part of your Account ?

Have they gone through sending you the links to set it up @Trev2710 ?

I appreciate your unimpressed at the entertainment part of your deal not yet working but to cancel the contract in the Cooling Off Period is most certainly your prerogative but can I ask if the alternative rival network gives good signal and data speeds where you live, commute and work ? I’m talking about testing it with a Payg Sims because the Network Online Checkers give an indication only and isn’t guaranteed  service. 

I understand it can be sometimes a wait to speak to an agent but a tip is to ring on a Weekday as early as possible and choose Thinking of Leaving. 

Personally I wouldn’t be waiting for them to call me as I’d want an answer ASAP so I can make an informed decision.

They say they cannot give me a link and that the returns team are the only ones capable of this (so they can check what I am saying is true, no doubt).  The reception for 3 is fine where I am (friends use it) and the ONLY reason I stayed was because of this offer.  The retention team knew that.

That’s a bit confusing as Customer Service are in place to deal with account issues which the entertainment package is part of. 

I have seen past posts where they’ve assisted people with issues like this. 

The Returns Team I would have thought would only be involved if you decided to request a return and cancellation I assume by asking for a PAC Code.

However you decide to proceed I wish you well.

If you have the My Vodafone Application on your phone, you will be able to see if you have Sky Sports, this is done by going to your products and services and using the > button to see your plan and what is included.

 

If you have Sky Sports included, it should only be necessary to text Entertainment to 97613 to receive the link to subscribe and download the Appliction from the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nxp.sky.skysportstv.google&hl=en_GB.

 

If there are continued problems, please come back to the forum and the Team will get you watching Sky Sports Mobile TV.
