Connection Issues - Canary Wharf Area

I have recently moved to the Canary Wharf area and am experiencing a few problems;

I use a 3G USB Dongle and have been experiencing intermittent drops in my connection. I have full 3G signal, and so I thought it was a hardware problem so tried a new dongle with the same issue. I have also tried another SIM.

The interesting thing is that my girlfriend and I are experiencing problems with voice calls too (BB Storm & BB 8900) – both with full signal – we get dropped calls and breaking up etc… so I am guessing that it is related.

Does anyone have any idea on what this could be? It seems to be less of a problem during the night/at weekends so I am guessing it is related to congestion?

Hey there Richard,

I have had a look into the signal in your area; I can see that there are a lot of sites around you, they all seem to be working fine, so the does indicate it’s due to congestion.

One option for your and the 3G handset would be to look into the Vodafone Sure Signal, but you will need a landline for it, so it may not be ideal for you however for others with signal issues, it could be the answer, look here for more details.

I know there isn’t allot I can do for you at this time, as you have already ran our diagnostic checks by changing the SIM card and trying a different device.
