I got my home broadband activated today. For the first hour or so it worked perfectly (around mid day), since then, and it is now 23:00, I have had literal constant dropouts all day. Is this normal? The light does not stay green for more than 10 seconds without flashing red again. Is this just because it's activation day or should I be worried?

I HAVE logged onto the router management page and it seems that the router is stuck in a loop of 'training' and then 'fetching ip' and not really getting anywhere?
