I have pay as you go mobile broadband and have been trying to remove the content control from my account online. However, I keep coming up against the message, "Unfortunately, your request cannot be processed."
I read in another post that this has been broken for some time. In fact, there is a post from a moderator, dated 06-06-2009, which states, "We are in the process of upgrading the My Account section of the website and so some current features are being affected. It'll be back up and running as soon as possible."
I emailed Vodafone Customer Services stating that I could not remove content control online, only to be told that I can now remove content control online. It's still not working.
This is incredibly poor service from a company that writes on its history page, "The Vodafone story is one of investment, innovation and award-winning customer service."
Is this customer service now only part of the company's history?
It's a shame really, because I have no other problems with the service.

I have the same problem. How can a key feature on the website of the world's biggest mobile phone company be broken for TWO YEARS.
I'm tired of reading the pathetic excuses and dodges from Vodafone staff, "email us" "go into a store", why should I? Fix your website. This is the sort of problem that is unacceptable if it lasts for days, let alone for years.
I'm staggered at a corporate culture that can be so utterly incompetent and at the same time so completely unconcerned with its customers.

Hi,
Can you please check to see whats happening with Content Control. Since about 9am this morning many of my normal sites ive been browsing fo ryears have been blocked, saying "due to a temporary fault we are unable to confirm if you haveremoved content control"... i have... about 5 years ago.
Also i cannot access the option in the online account section, or it either says "unavailable".
Is there an issue with the mobile broadband blocking that started at aut 9am today? i was blocked mid-browsing when trying to go back to a page i had previously viewed, so it does appear to be an issue on your end.
Can it be fixed asap please?
Chris
