1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?

NEW PROBLEM - exists all across this postcode area indoors and out.

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? If you don't want this showing on the Community, add it to your profile here.

DT2 8RJ

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?

Yes - have tried 3 SIMS in 3 different devices and have tried all combinations of device and SIM.  All will only connect to 3G - until this morning we have had full 4G at this location for several months

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?

3G only with VERY POOR upload speed - DL 1.7Mbps, UL 0.09Mbps, Ping 70ms

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?

As above, the problem is a total absence of 4G and unusable upload on 3G

6) When did you first notice this issue?

Today - approx 10am

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?

Permanent since 10am today

Have just spoken to a couple of others in the village - same problem so not an account or device level problem

There is an unexpected issue listed for one of the ciritcal sites for serving that postcode so Vodafone does know about the issue.

Excellent.  Because at the time I posted, Vodafone said all was swell.

I've been over to Dorchester (DT1) in the past hour and it's taken out that area too

@NoDosh - We’re aware of an issue in your area and you can see this on our network status checker.

Our network engineers are working to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

Hi Jenny,

As mentioned, when I first put up this report there was nothing showing under network status.  Since then it came up to show the tower at Tincleton had a problem.

Pleased to report that the engineers have worked their magic and in the last half hour 4G has been restored across the wider DT2 8xx area

@NoDosh - I’m pleased to hear this is back up and running again now. :Smiling:
