Hi,
Which Payg Tariff are you on ? I'm wondering how your getting to "topped up two weeks worth of data"
Is this in regards to a mobile phone or Data on the Go i.e. Data Dongle ?
If your 100% that no devices were turned on or on stand by so they could use data in the background to update apps, update firmware or use location apps such as weather ,and there isn't anything that shows you in your online myvodafone or myvodafone app or the phones inbuilt data monitor what the data has been used on then I would suggest using Live Chat or Customer services on 191.
They will be able to clarify what Data has been used but they wouldn't be able to be specific with what's it's been used by.
The generic advice to stop Data Usage is to turn off Mobile Data in the phones settings and use Wifi and then turn back on Mobile Data when out of range from wifi.
Some phones settings and apps can also be tweaked to curb data usage.

Hi @Shar_Farmer
If you are using a PAYG data device, the packages your Mother added yesterday will kick in as soon as the current allowance is fully used.
There is more than likely a delay with the added data packages. If the queued packages are not added later today, please use Live Chat, they will be able to find the reason for the delay.
