Hi,
Please could somebody contact me with regards to the below issue.
I have recently checked my credit score and have found it is being “severely” effected by a defaulted Vodafone account. This case relates to a £17 monthly payment you have charged me post cancelling my contract over the summer. I was made aware of this charge through emails form Vodafone, however the debt was then passed onto Fredrickson who contacted me and whom I paid back through their website. Of course I did not ignore these emails, but when clicking on the link to make the payment the I was told there was no open account with my user credentials. Admittedly, it would have been better on my part to have called you/reached out to you at the time – however, the whole reason I cancelled my contract with Vodafone was due to the firm messing me around when I upgraded my phone (wasting over 13h on the phone trying to fix the problem until I finally cancelled!). My experience of Vodafone up until the upgrade was good, but after the terrible service and wasted time endured during the upgrade I just want to get this sorted as quickly and cleanly as possible.
• My main concern is my credit rating so would appreciate a discussion as to why you have marked me defaulted and if you can amend this.
• My second question would be as to why the £17 was charged in the first place with no explanation in any of the emails nor on my account on the Vodafone website.
As mentioned I should have called you after the first email, but Vodafone’s poor communications in this matter have been a large factor in the delinquency of the account.

The Vodafone Community Forum is owned and monitored by Vodafone U.K. There is members of the Vodafone Team here who are available to respond and Help where they can. They are easily identifiable as they have the Official Vodafone logo next to their name. All posts are read by them.
