Delivery date

So the release date is the 11th of March but if you pre-order Samsung says you can benefit by having it 3 days early. Will vodafone honour that? I've pre-ordered mine but the sales guys have no idea when the phones will start to get dispatched.

Did you're order confirmation have the VR attached anywhere at all?

Yes my email confirmation shows that I have the VR headset at a special offer of £0. Which is a nice gesture I must say...

I did get an email from vodafone just after the announcement of the S7 saying that if I pre-order before the 6th March I will get it 3 days before anyone else. What's concerning is that I have spoken to 2 different sales guys since then and they seem to think that it's the 11th.

I've got a text from Vodafone this morning saying my package will be delivered today?? Is it possible this is the VR headset that came with the deal, or dare I dream they have got the delivery date for the phone wrong... Anyone else got a delivery coming?

Today?? Wow! Do you think that maybe a system error sending the text? Let us know if it comes. For comparison with the pre-order process all I got since pre-ordering is a email acknowledging the order haven't heard anything since 😡 Did you get anything different?

Well I wondered if it was a mistake at first, but that was when I got a text on Monday saying my parcel will be delivered on 24th (today), and yet I got another text today with a tracking number and the tracking number is active with DPD! I don't want to get my hopes up quite yet though...

I got the pre-order confirmation and everything too so not sure why it's different. I will definitely post back here once I find out, which should be about 12.30GMT!

I have just contacted vodafone ad they do assure me that the order is on track, still nothing via email or anything else. In relation to your delivery, i have just looked at the pre-order terms and conditions and condition 10 is as follows - 

"The Samsung Gear VR will be dispatched and delivered at the same time as the device."

You maybe the lucky one, fingers crossed
