E160x Was At Top Speeds Now I Can Hardly Get 4kb

Hello,

I have just been having alot of trouble with my E160X vodafone dongle on pay as you go. When i first got it i was getting speeds of 300 KB but for the past few days for some strange reason i can hardly manage to reach 4kb half the time and i have no idea what has gone wrong.

It was on 3G but due to severe bad speeds i changed to GPRS and i get just about on average 6 KB

Can anyone advise me on what i might of done wrong? My dongle was once lightning but now super slow

Can you double-check that model number for me? I don't think we've ever made an E160X

Since it's Pay-as-you-Go though, I'll assume you mean the K3565?

The only reason I can think of for the speed reductions on 3G is if there's a cell fault in your area. Can you confirm the postcode you're connecting from for us? We'll be able to check the cell sites in your area and raise a fault if needed

Thanks for your reply to my post. My postcode is NR30 1LE. It has improved a tad since we last spoke and getting average 10KB but used to be up tpo 400KB.
