EX6 Area - Signal Dropped Off a Cliff the Last Week :-(

My signal at home in the EX6 area has always been patchy in the 4 years since I moved here, but I got to know where to hold / leave the phone to get a signal, where it would happily get 3 out of 5 bars if left alone. In the past week to 10 days, I've had nothing at home. NOTHING 😕

Are there any known network issues in this area? Patchy I can live with, but no signal at all is a deal breaker when living rurally with children.

Oh, and please don't suggest Sure Signal - I work in IT and even I couldn't get it to connect to the internet.

Hi @DirtyPixel

On keying in your postcode EX6 into the Vodafone Network Checker Here.  it shows your local masts as Ok but on Zooming out on the map it reports for surrounding masts  "We're trying to fix a network issue which might be affecting calls coverage. It’s now being investigated. We'll update this page as soon as we know more." and maintenance work "We'll be doing some work on our network in this area to improve your calls, texts and data coverage. Sorry if you notice any disruption. We're expecting to start work on 7.30am 05 Jul 2017 and to have things back to normal by 6pm 06 Jul 2017. Everything else should be working fine." Issues with surrounding masts can occasionally have an impact on local masts if Vodafone are re routing network traffic to compensate.

A person can Register for Updates in the above link.

Vodafone have a specific template to report Network Issues for a person to use which is here > Network-issues-initial-checks-and-template.

Ok I won't mention the Sure Signal but an alternative if your on an eligible contract type and accepted handset is Vodafones Calling Over Wifi.
