Email Server Termination

Hi,
I need some help with the email settings on my Vodafone K3565 dongle. I am a freelance sports photographer and use a PAYG Vodafone dongle combined with an IBM Lenovo laptop.
I use Outlook Express to send emails with one picture per email ranging from 500kb to 800kb in size.
I've been using this reasonably successfully since the start of the season, but recently performance has dropped off dramatically.
I can no longer email photos of more than 300kb otherwise the server times out. I've checked my account settings and the timeout is set to 5 mins which it is not currently hitting before the error message is received.
SMTP is send.vodafone.net with Port 25

Any help would be appreciated as I need this working or else I don't work!

Thanks in advance

Sorry James, no luck. It won't connect at all through the Vodafone Connect, but flies when connected via the home network. When I click to send an email, it just sits there trying to connect then times out and stops. Obviously some other setting isn't quite right.

Finally got it sorted (fingers crossed). Added @360.com to my account name and changed the send port to 465 as described. Now connecting ok and sending even at GPRS speed with no disconnects.

Glad you have it sorted.

I don't think you need the @360.com, at least I just have my 360.com username. I've now tried from
XP using Outlook Express and it worked for sending first time. Setting up was a pain though as it
demanded I specify a server for incoming and then had all sorts of problems when it tried to collect
email from it.

The mail still rated a fair spam score, forged outlook express headers (no just very old version),
sender domain not matching domain of email address, relay countries GB => DE => GB (yep
so what).
