Finally got it sorted (fingers crossed). Added @360.com to my account name and changed the send port to 465 as described. Now connecting ok and sending even at GPRS speed with no disconnects. |

I don't think you need the @360.com, at least I just have my 360.com username. I've now tried from
XP using Outlook Express and it worked for sending first time. Setting up was a pain though as it
demanded I specify a server for incoming and then had all sorts of problems when it tried to collect
email from it.
The mail still rated a fair spam score, forged outlook express headers (no just very old version),
sender domain not matching domain of email address, relay countries GB => DE => GB (yep
so what).
