I am currently phoneless because my 5c died on me, so receiving my new iPhone 6s was something I was eagerly anticipating.
It arrived. It didn't get past the set-up stage and got stuck on the infamous 'swipe to upgrade' screen.
That's okay, I'll just call up Vodafone and hopefully they'll sort it.
Oh wait, it's LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a human being and the company can quite simply only be run by robots hoping no one cottons on to their evil existence.
Because I didn't have a way of finding out my mobile phone number, I called them from my landline. LUCKILY Vodafone had seen it fit to set up my direct debit with breathtaking ease and bill me £49 - scheduled to be taken from my bank a mere 6 days after the arrival of my phone. So I had an account number.
The evil robot asked for my mobile OR account number, yet in the six times I phoned, I had to enter my account number three times before it realised it gave me the option of providing an alternative to my phone number. I then had no choice but to take myself on a very inspecific journey to a field roughly related to my problem by pressing 22221 - a little quicker each time.
I then was told to sit back and relax, hang up my phone and wait for their call. The first time they called me, I picked up, they hung up. The second time they called me, I picked up, they hung up. The third time they called me, I picked up, they hung up. And so on and so forth.

In fact don't worry about it, I probably will have died from a stress-induced heart attack by the time anyone provides me with an answer.
